We were released from the hospital on Friday, February 29th (happy not to have a baby born on Leap Day). After waiting for all the doctors to release us we coordinated the car transport for Mike to meet us after his meetings and my parents to bring Collin and the car with the car seat.
Leaving the hospital with a newborn is 
probably an emotional event for most new moms, but the dynamic is definately different than with the first born if you have a 3 year old "entertaining" you through the entire process. I think Collin used up about 150 of his 300 "Why" questions of the day in the hour we were leaving.

I think Collin used up about 150 of his 300 "Why" questions of the day in the hour we were leaving.It enjoyed my semi-quiet bonding time with Carson in the hospital but was nice to be home with the whole family who treated me so well!
